Sakae’s New Initiative with Shopee – Gift a Meal

Many of us are aware that since the Covid-19 outbreak, it has affected many Singaporeans, especially the underprivileged families and individuals. With that, local Japanese restaurant chain, Sakae has decided to do their part to help the community.

They have implemented a new initiative -‘Gift a Meal’ that will be running for a year on their website. Their exclusive platform partner is Shopee.

“Shopee has always been committed to doing their part and is constantly looking out for ways in which they can give back to the community. Shopee believes in the importance of using our platform to amplify the voices of those in need and we are excited to partner with Sakae to make a meaningful difference,” said Tiger Wang, Head of Marketing, Shopee Singapore.

So by now, you might be wondering how this ‘Gift a Meal’ works and this is how it is:

All you have to do is purchase a ‘Gift a Meal’ e-voucher through Sakae’s or Shopee website to redeem a Teriyaki Chicken Donburi or Salad at any participating outlets. The participating outlets are:

  • Bishan Junction 8
  • Compass One
  • Woodlands Civic Centre
  • Heartland Mall
