Local TV Shows of Mediacorp are Now Available to Stream on HUAWEI Video

We have Netflix. We have Viu. But none of these streaming platforms have a wide range of our local Mediacorp shows. Western and Asian tv series and movies are great but once in awhile we would like to dip our toes into something local, like C.L.I.F. And now we can with Huawei Video. 

Mediacorp has inked an inaugural content collaboration with Huawei video, in a distribution deal that will see more than 1,500 hours of drama series and lifestyle content being offered to Huawei Video App users across 26 territories.

If you are wondering if there would only be Chinese shows, they have both English and Chinese language catalogue. So, it is not just the local goodies but shows beyond Singapore. Paying subscribers can stream a whole range of genres on the Huawei Video App, with complimentary access for the first few episodes of all lifestyle shows, dramas and Longford series.

With national Day  coming on 9 August 2020, Huawei Video App users both in Singapore and Outside Singapore can enjoy evergreen Singapore-centric titles from national day onwards. This includes free viewing of the first five episodes of a local favourite Mediacorp era epics like The Little Nyonya and The Journey

To celebrate the new partnership, Huawei Video is also launching the ‘Huawei Video – Watch & Win’ campaign exclusively to all Huawei Video users in Singapore. Starting from 26 June to 16 July and 22 July to 7 August, users stand a chance to win a prize daily by watching any video content available in the app for at least one minute. The prizes include: Huawei MatePad Pro, Huawei Y6p, Huawei FreeBuds 3, Huawei x GENTLE MONSTER Eyewear and many more.
