Huawei is bringing us Hi-End Audio to New Heights with HUAWEI Sound X, Available in Singapore from July 4

Just yesterday, Huawei announced that the HUAWEI Sound X will be available for sale from July 4, 2020. According to Huawei, the HUAWEI Sound X is a product that will “revolutionise high-end acoustic technology with sonorous audio that leaves and enduring, life-altering impression on the listener”. The HUAWEI Sound X is just stunning and we are not the only ones that thinks so. It has been recognised by the 2020 German iF Design Award committee for its stylish appearance.

What do we know about the new HUAWEI Sound X? It is the first-ever dual-subwoofer Hi-Fi speaker. The HUAWEI Sound X comes equipped with Devialet’s patented signal-processing SAM® (Speaker Active Matching) technology. It also comes with an iconic Push-Push symmetrical structure. Rendering music with an audiophile’s attention to detail within an impact-resistant form. So our clumsy folks out there, a little bump or two may not hurt the HUAWEI Sound X.

The HUAWEI Sound X is designed to have seamless interaction with the smart devices in the listener’s vicinity. It plays your songs, podcasts or any audio via Wi-Fi. Which in turn, requires less data compression and fewer lag as compared to bluetooth transmission. This technology is built on Huawei’s self developed technology (EMUI 10.1 Multi-Device Control Panel) is similar to Apple’s Airplay.

The speaker also packs the “Huawei Share” function. Which saves users the hassle of waiting for a wireless or Bluetooth connection to establish. Instead, you can simply tap your phone’s NFC area against the Sound X, and velvety surround sound will begin to play without delay. Or to answer calls on your Sound X, just switch on call mode, with a tap of your hand. You can also cover the top with your hand to mute the speaker. It is similar to the ambient sound mode on noise canceling earphones.

The HUAWEI Sound X was unveiled together with the HUAWEI P40 Series. The HUAWEI Sound X is available from July 4. Retailing at SGD$498 in all Huawei concept stores, Huawei official online stores Lazada and Shopee. Every purchase is covered with a one-year warranty (terms and conditions apply).

And you can get the new Huawei P40 Pro+ at Shopee. If you want to know more about the Huawei P40 Pro+, here is our previous article about it: Huawei Announces The Upcoming Release Of Their Huawei P40 Pro+ in Singapore
