We have to admit that last year was Marvel’s year with Avengers: Endgame. But now it seems that DC Universe is coming up with some tricks of their own. Introducing DC FanDome, a 24-hours global virtual event for everything and anything in the DC Universe. DC FanDome is scheduled to happen on 23 August, 1am (SGT).

DC fans are invited to gather (virtually, of course) to experience new content from multiple DC universes. Not to mention, listen to big announcements. We are not exactly sure, what these announcements are, but we know that it will be big. Explore behind-the-scenes and never-before-seen content across movies, television shows, games and even comics! The best part? It is FREE! Fans also gets a chance to hear from the casts and creators behind some of the DC shows and movies we have all come to love. Such as, Aquaman, The Flash, Lucifer, Watchmen and Wonder Women 1984. There will be 10 different languages available for fans and will feature localised content for specific countries too.

DC FanDome is divided into six different sections:

This is where you want to be to get content reveals, special programs and panels from different DC movies, television series and games. Possible in various languages. Though, we do have to point out that there are no official announcement on whether there will be any livestream of panels, so it could be prerecorded. But then again, do not take our word for it but wait to see if there are any official announcements.

DC WatchVerse

DC WatchVerse offeres hours of must-see and exclusive first-hand content of different DC films, television series, home entertainment and games. We are talking about never-seen-before footages featuring the cast, creators and behind-the-scenes crew. We know that this is going to be our first stop!

Though we are not completely sure how this section will work but this is for all you cosplay and fan art lovers. It feels like it is a showcase of cosplays from other DC events and user-generated content from fans all around the world. Hey! This is the family-friendly section for younger fans. There will be activities and content from DC cartoons such as Teen Titans Go!, Super Hero Girls and Justice League. So parents can ‘leave’ your kids in this section and go off and explore the rest of DC FanDome.

DC InsiderVerse

For new DC fans who are just entering the DC universe, this is where you want to be. DC InsiderVerse is kind of like an introduction to the DC Multiverse. It will introduce to you the different DC superheroes and universes that you may or may not know or seen across different media platforms. It also offers behind-the-scenes with master artists who brought DC characters to life, from comics to games to TV, basically everything.
