The annual Star Wars run goes online for the very first time

This year’s May the Fourth was cancelled due to the circuit breaker. Why is May the Fourth significant? Star Wars fans would understand. Many Star Wars celebration was cancelled this year. Just like the annual Star Wars run. However, the annual Star Wars run is going online for the very first time. Get ready to put on your trainers as you go on this epic virtual run.

From June 15 to September 30, register yourself to the virtual Star Wars run and run at the comfort of your neighbourhood park or treadmill at home. Firstly, pledge your allegiance to either the dark or light side. Next, choose either the (Han) solo run in 5.4 kilometre or pair up with someone for a combined 40 kilometre run. Clock in your distance and receive a commemorative Finisher Trophy upon completion of your run. As for 40 kilometre runners, a limited edition 40th anniversary gold Darth Vader trophy is waiting for you at the finishing line.

This event celebrates the 40 years of the original Star Wars trilogy, The Empire Strikes Back, released in 1980. This film is regarded as one of the most popular Star Wars film ever made. Simply register yourself for the virtual run on Move by Liv3ly app or web. Download the Move app (Android, iOS) to track your run. Complete your chosen run, anytime by the dateline (September 30). The best part? You do not have to run the entire distance at once. Spread the distance across multiple days. Finish your run and your trophy will be delivered to your mailing address.
