First look at Sony’s new PlayStation 5

Sony unveiled the PlayStation 5 at its ‘The Future of Gaming’ livestream event on Thursday. So let’s skip the longwinded introduction and go right into it, here’s what the PlayStation 5 is going to look like:

The PlayStation 5 sports a dual-tone black and white colour scheme, similar to its DualSense controller. It continues the tradition of being able to stand up and lie down even with its sleek curvaceous design. In addition, there will also be a Digital Edition of the PS5 which does not include a disc tray for those who only play their games digitally.

If you think we are going to end this post right here, you’re wrong. We are also going look at some of the new sequels, reboots, new project and new looks at already-announced games since last year:

Spider-Man: Miles Morales

The sequel to one of the best PS4 games, Spider-Man. Starring Miles Morales as the main Spider-Man.

Stray

Cat-lovers, we hope that you’re ready because Stray is a punk-looking games about a cat carrying a technologically advanced backpack. And hey, even though there isn’t much information about the game, you’re playing as a cat. That is a good enough reason to play this game.

Ghostwire: Tokyo

From the minds behind Resident Evil 4 and The Evil Within, players have to save Tokyo in this spooky game. Sounds easy? But we all know that it is never that simple. There are weird apparitions and enemies popping up in the city and they need to be destroyed.

NBA 2K21

Now that we can’t play basketball outside, why not play it at home, digitally. It’s more of the same from NBA 2K series, so if anyone is itching to play some basketball, here you go.

Resident Evil 8: Village

If you think that this is going to be similar to all the other Resident Evil games, you’re wrong. Ok..It is sort of similar but now putting aside the scary villagers that want to kill you for some strange reason, there are werewolves now.

Are you excited about the new PlayStation 5 like we are? Lets patiently wait for the release date of the new console. In the meantime, Sony is developing a live-action film based on ‘One Punch Man’ manga series with Venom writers.
