With everything going on with the world right now, let’s not forget that June is also Pride month. And though it has taken a back seat, we can still do our partner our LGBTQ+ friends and family. Puma has partnered with Cara Delevingne, model and LGBTQ+ activist, on their 2020 Pride collection, From Puma with Love.
This collection consist of 13-pieces which includes, apparels, accessories and footwear that features rainbow accents. Items range from USD$20 to USD$45. 20% of the proceeds will go to the Cara Delevingne Foundation, an initiative created in partnership with the Giving Back Fund to support LGBTQ+ charities such as GLAAD, The Trevor Project and Mind Out.
In a press release, Adam Petrick, Global Director of Brand and Marketing at PUMA, said, ““We are proud to team up with Cara to celebrate Pride Month through this meaningful collection that will benefit LGBTQ+ organisations across the globe”. Throughout the month, Delevingne will engage with social media users through multiple giveaways and social media hangouts to celebrate Pride virtually.
“This collection was designed and created with so much love. I was really looking forward to wearing it at this year’s Pride celebrations that I was planning to attend but, given the circumstances, I can’t wait to wear it and celebrate Pride month from my home via Zoom and FaceTime,” Delevingne said in the press release. “The LGBTQ+ community deserves to be celebrated and I’m so grateful PUMA partnered with me to create such a prideful collection.”
The collection will be available on puma.com. Unfortunately, they would not be available on Singapore’s Puma website. But we all know there is a way we can get our hands on this collection.
