Did you know that the first Pokémon trading card game (TCG) was released in Japan in 1996, making it one of the oldest parts of the Pokémon franchise. We all have to admit that we didn’t really know how to play the Pokémon TCG. We either winged it while we were playing or just collected the cards. But now, the kids will no longer have to worry about not knowing how to play the game. The Pokémon company announced its first ever board game version of the Pokémon trading card game!!
Pokémon trading card Game Battle Academy comes with a two-player board, three decks (Pikachu, Charizard and Mewtwo), tutorial guides, gameplay accessories and a digital code that allows players to use the same cards in Pokémon Trading Card Game Online.
You must be wondering how the board game differs from buying a pre-made themed deck with 60 cards, a playmate, coins, damage counters and rules for less than USD$13. This board game format could make learning the actual a little less painful for everyone. And you will be getting three decks of 60 cards each which may be more cost efficient than buying three decks separately. With three decks means that players are able to experiment with different play styles to see which of their Pokémon cards is the most powerful.
Pokémon trading card Game Battle Academy is set to release worldwide on July 31.
Alternatively, did you know Adidas released a washable face mask to battle COVID19. They did and we are loving it.
If you would like us to try out the board game when it comes out, leave a comment below, and who knows we might actually try it out. Or if you have any other games you would like us to review, let us know too.
