Netflix’s controversial US show 13 Reasons Why is preparing to launch its fourth and final season. The show’s third season landed on Netflix in August 2019 and a fourth season was then officially confirmed.

13 Reasons Why got its reputation from Hannah’s season one death scene. That particular scene sparked many discussions on the theme of suicide that concerned both experts and viewers. In the end, that scene was removed from the show.

Season four will be the series’ final season. 13 Reasons Why was inspired by Jay Asher’s book (of the same name). However, the series has outpaced the original source. Despite that, 13 Reasons Why has made a name for itself. It managed to create conversations on sensitive topics that no one would openly talk about. Such as suicide, mass shootings at school and rape.

So what do we know about 13 Reasons Why season 4? According to the show’s official twitter account, the launch date is set on June 5. In the clip shared on twitter we see some familiar faces that we have come to love in this series: Clay (Dylan Minnette), Justin (Brandon Flynn), Tony (Christian Navarro), Alex (Miles Heizer), Tyler (Devin Druid), Zach (Ross Butler), and Jessica (Alisha Boe). Though we do not know when the first trailer would be coming out, we do know that the narrative will follow the characters as they graduate high school.
