Is it worth it to drink Starbucks Singapore’s Pink Peach Crème Blossom Frappuccino? It’s review time!

If a 🍑 and the artificial taste of Bandung had a juicy lil’ baby – this creamy Pink Peach Crème Blossom Frappuccino would be it.

As we march into spring and name brands start coming out with surprise, surprise… floral themed things again, we couldn’t resist a certain siren’s call…

Snarky Devil Wears Prada quip aside, here’s the lowdown on the slurp.

On the Starbucks’ website, the Pink Peach Cream Frappuccino promises to be “… inspired by the peach blossoms in peak bloom – a luscious blend of pink peach sauce and cream layered with juicy peach jelly and topped with fluffy whipped cream and a delicately placed blossom-shaped meringue.”

Sounds promising, and a totally Insta-worthy subject to boot!

Upon first sip though, we found that the juicy peach jellies were rather hard to suck up using the regular Starbucks signature green straws. A little penalty was given here for that flippancy towards user experience. You might want to bust out your bubble tea sized bamboo straws for this drink. If you don’t, perhaps consider going straw-free to save the environment? Or suck harder lor.

Taste-wise, there’s a reason why “peaches and cream” is a well-established term – the two flavours really complement each other without being overwhelming. The resulting beverage is equal parts gummy fruity peach mixed with fluffy, floofy, lightweight cream. They do dole out generous helpings of meaty peach bits and jellies too!

That said – a couple of our Brutal reviewers find the peach syrup flavouring to be overly artificial and unpalatable, so this libation might not be your cup of tea.

The whole peachy pink concoction was topped with Starbuck’s usual fluffy whipped cream (yum!) and a blossom-shaped meringue that reminded us of the ice gems biscuit topping.

All in all, we do think that the drink does live up to its “lusciously peachy” description, but can we get past the bordering-on-overly-chemical flavouring? Out of our five reviewers, four of them said no. So little for something with such a long name. Sadly, Starbucks Pink Peach Crème Blossom Frappuccino gets a BRUTAL DISAPPROVED from us.

Meanwhile, here are some other caffeine-influenced drink reviews that you could probably check out!
