What happens when LiHO, a drink brand partners with Recherche, a skincare brand? They create LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea!
But before I start, does anyone know the effects of extensive exposure to the sun? Well it can have an adverse impact on your skin
So, if you spend a lot of time outside, this whitening beauty tea is the drink for you. BUT WAIT! What if you’re not an outdoor person? Then read our previous article where we review Recherché collagen Beauty Tea!
Available from the 7th of November 2019, you still have the chance to get ‘whiter’ skin.
On the 21st of November 2019, LiHO decided to add another 20 outlets that are selling LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea, making it more accessible for you!
So, what is the point of LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea? LiHo and Recherche claim that their beauty drink will overall ‘brighten and whiten skin’
From their own website Recherche claims that their Whitening Beauty Tea will do the following:
- Natural powerful antioxidant that protects skin cells against oxidative stress
- Inhibits the production of melanin by preventing inflammatory response of the skin
- Skin brightening and whitening, helps lighten age spots and freckles
- Evens out skin tone
- Prevents skin damage and degradation of skin collagen and elastin
Before we get into whether we think LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea is worth it, let’s talk about the taste.
Honestly, it does not taste great!
LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea is not very sweet and contains white pearls and jelly yuzu. The grapefruit taste is overpowering and leaves a sour taste in your mouth even after you have finished the drink.
But more importantly, what does LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea do for your skin, and for $6.90 is the Whitening Beauty Tea really worth it?
LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea is really expensive, especially because we didn’t see any visible results after drinking it.
And how did they expect us to know if some of their claims are true, did they just expect us to just believe them?
Even if they were true, how many times would you have to consume LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea to see ‘whiter and brighter’ skin? And by the time you go and waste all our money, you might as well have gone and bought of other products that are actually proven to ‘whiten and brighten’ your skin.
Due to the lack of evidence and price point, this is a very expensive exercise to engage in. But go ahead if you have the time and money. Nevertheless, LiHo Recherche’s Whitening Beauty Tea gets a BRUTAL DISAPPROVAL!
